From 1968 to 1998, fourteen films were produced around the Danish trickster trio "The Olsen Gang"
The Filmmuseum Potsdam is now celebrating its 50th anniversary.
In five themed spaces where presented many original exhibits, amongst others props from the movies, costumes, screenplays, set designs and scores.
A special focus will be placed on the phenomenon of the particularly high popularity of the Olsen Gang in the GDR.
In the design of the exhibition spaces, the play of colors and shapes and the sometimes comic-like setting of the films are adapted. As they it switched between the"hygellig" Denmark with reddish brown brick, rustic beige-flowery interior and the color and plastic rush of the 60s and 70s
